History

In the fall of 1969 several Indiana Corporate Insurance Managers met and formed the Indiana Chapter for the American Society of Insurance Management. The society was formed to help members keep abreast of trends in procedures in the fields of risk and insurance management.

From this group evolved the present Indiana Chapter, Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc. The Chapter members are located in all areas of the state and represent a variety of businesses. Our goals are to promote professionalism in Risk Management through continual education, chapter meetings and willingness to assist each other and share information.
